At this stage all classes are running normally this is being reviewed daily.

We all have to deal with the impact of the CoVid19 virus on our lives and livelihoods. Waitakere Gymnastics follows the guidelines of Gymnastics NZ and the Ministry of Health. At the moment (and this changeable virtually daily), those guidelines are that we can continue classes as long as we comply with the hygiene and hand sanitizing guidelines. We are comfortable that these are in place and visible in the club and we ask that you please adhere to these guidelines as indicated at the club

  • Waitakere Gymnastics expects that all attendees will follow Ministry of Health COVID-19 Advice. This includes not attending classes under the following circumstances:
    • Do not attend if you feel unwell or are showing any cold or flu symptoms.
    • Do not attend if you or anyone you are in close contact with has arrived in New Zealand from abroad (other than the Pacific Islands) after 14 March 2020.
  • All attendees are encouraged to wash their hands or use sanitizer or wipes on entry to the gym and we encourage attendees to bring and use their own hand sanitizer.
  • To limit numbers in the gym Parents/Care Givers are respectfully being asked not to come into the gym to watch and wait.  If possible drop your gymnast to the foyer and leave, your gymnast will be waiting in the foyer or upstairs for you at the end of their class.  Gymnasts are not permitted to leave the building unattended.
  • Contact with gymnasts and coaches will be kept to a minimum, this may mean some activities will not be available during class for the immediate future.

In the event of closure all members will be contacted immediately via email.
